Life is a wild, boring, chaotic, and organized journey. Finding peace in that journey is a reward unmeasured.

 My name is Sandy, I am a 40+ year old wife and mother of 7+ children. Some I gave birth to, some I gained as bonuses in marriage, and some I have "found" along the way. I know what it is to struggle to keep up with the daily grind in life. I know the desire to want to be there for your family, support their goals/extra curriculars, keep up with your own career (and education needed for it), provide a nutritious meal, keep the house clean, make sure your spouse feels cared for, the animals have all their cares, AND have some self care along with the proper rest needed in the measly 24 hours each day. It is a hard struggle!

This is one of the reasons I turned to painting and helping people find a little peace in their own worlds. I found that putting my emotions on canvas has helped me get a bit of peace in my daily grind. Luckily it has brought peace and good feelings to others that have seen it and hung it on their walls as well. I have taken some of my paintings that have had such raw and jagged emotions and painted over into pieces of serenity and comfort. These are the pieces with which I have found bring others the most comfort into their homes.
